Yes, I’ve made a trip like this before. I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail in 2013 along with my dog Copper. That’s where I got the trail name Blast. I made a blog for that trip as well, which you can find at http://threetireddogs.rutteric.com. My mom wrote a book based on that blog which you can find out more about at http://northbounders.us/.
Do not expect this blog to be anywhere near as detailed that one. Also, there’s no dog this time.
